At this time, we are not soliciting new memberships.    Memberships are by invitation only and mainly to those who have actually tried and liked purchasing through this site.   We are not here to make promises, sign up members and collect dues.    We are here to deliver performance and cultivate a satisfied user base.

Only after you have test driven us for awhile and tried us out do we invite you to consider membership.    If, and only if, you have reached that point, then please fill out the following form and hit the submit button to send your inquiry to Samhell.  Please fill out all fields so that we can contact you with the details to determine whether or not membership is right for you.

 
Membership Plans

At some point, we expect to get approval as a non-profit organization, but not of the tax-deductible variety.   This involves a lot of lawyer stuff and some money.   It also means that any rebates or commissions we may generate and pay should either be declared as income to the tax man or deducted from your expenses.

We want to keep this simple.  That's why we give preference to vendors who provide our users with immediate savings.   Our member-volunteers simply do not have the time to administrate, calculate or distibute more than a limited number of rebates or commissions.

Member Benefits

Membership is NOT REQUIRED to use this website

Samhell  membership is not encouraged until you have had ample chance to test drive and use our site.   We want you to be satisfied with the vendors we have selected as well as the value and service which they offer.       Only when and if you are fully satisfied are you encouraged to enquire about membership.    In general, membership is not offered until you've been using this site for your purchases for at least one calendar year and in sufficient volume to make a membership worthwhile.   This is not because we wish to be exclusive, but because we want to keep the focus of attention and value on our users, not on our membership list.

Membership dues are $10 per year.    You may e-mail us for the details or send it to the address shown on the "Contact Us" page with a print-out of your contact information.    Once you sign up for membership, you may choose to accept "notifications" e-mail which will summarize additional benefits or offers from our affiliates.   

Membership is NOT REQUIRED to become an affiliate

If you would like to be a vendor listed on this website, please contact us with information on products or services  you could offer our users.   You will need to have a user friendly website which we could test drive and evaluate.   Membership is allowed under the same terms as offered to users, $10 per year dues to cover administrative costs.    Neither your membership nor lack thereof will influence our decision on whether or not to make you an affiliate.


Membership DOES require work

Members are expected to help promote this site and grow our user base.    While some sites offer rebates or commissions in addition to discounts for users, the division of this income is first, to pay the necessary expenses for maintaining and promoting of this site.    Second, 70% of what remains will be paid to the ursers who generated said commissions and refunds.     Yes, it has to be 70% because if it was any less, our users could quite possibly do better without us the way most of this income is scaled.   Third, 20% will be used to grow our cooperative.   This may be either in the form of advertising or promotions for our best users and prospects.   Yes, this means our users are going to reap roughly 90% of the benefits.    It also helps explains why we want you as a user before you  are invited to be a member.

Finally, we will distribute the remaining 10% among the members, directly in proportion to their work and investment.   Yes, by the time it gets to this level, the amount will be negligible, at least in the initial stages.   But because you are a member, you will have a voice in whom we list, including your business if it passes the muster of being a good value to our customers and offers a better value than going to your website directly.   So you see, membership isn't totally thankless.
